Black City cover reveal!

YAY! I’m so, so, so thrilled to be able to reveal my gorgeous cover for BLACK CITY, book #1 of the Black City Chronicles, due out on 13 November 2012.

To make this event even more special, Penguin Books for Young Readers have teamed up with the World’s Greatest Blogs TM to do an EPIC cover reveal and galley give away! 5 lucky winners will also receive a signed drawing of Ash & Natalie, sketched by my very own hand. Oooooh.

So head on over to any of these amazing blogs from 7am EST (that’s 12pm in the UK) today to see the sparkly new cover, plus read an exclusive excerpt of BLACK CITY, and be entered into the prize draw. Of course, the more blogs you visit, the more chances you have of winning! So pop along to them now and post your comments to enter the fabulous prize draw. Contest rules are on each of the blogs. Have fun!

  1. Breathtaking, gorgeous, amazing…. I could go on, but you get the point 🙂
    I adore the cover!

  2. The designers did such an incredible job on the cover art and just from what I’ve read about the novel, it seems so fitting to the story!

And DAMN, woman! That excerpt! *craves more* I imagine it did to me what the Haze does to people in Black City, because I’m still riding a high long after reading 🙂 I’m crazy excited to see what you offer with the full story!

Big thanks to you and Putnam for allowing me to take part in this! 🙂

  3. The cover’s great! Congrats! 😀

  6. I’m trying to think of the things to bribe you with so I can get the rest of the manuscript. I have an impressive collection of worthless objects if you’re interested 😉

  7. Thanks for having me apart of your big reveal! The cover is really striking (simple but still super pretty) and the first chapter excerpt was awesome!

  8. Elizabeth, the cover is lovely and that first chapter kicks all kinds of ass.

I’m happy to spread the word.
